Universal Hub, one of my favorite local Boston news sites, has a story about Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester possibly flooding over. I can recall several times where this has happened in the past, and it occurs when a particularly high tide caused by a full moon coincides with poor weather. With this Monday being the “Strawberry Moon” and today’s Boston Harbor area weather being particularly poor (with a small craft warning to boaters) it is highly likely that some flooding could occur. The moon does tend to amplify tides -both high and low- see our post about last month’s tidal moon activity.
